sounds like your workspace may have become corrupt. You can hold down F8
while launching the app until you get a dialog box asking if you want to
revert to factory defaults. This might clear up the problem... but a note:
this will also erase any customization you may have done to the app. You
may
want to save the workspace settings before doing this if you've done a lot
of tweaks.
