Two Storytelling Events this week: St. John's Storytelling Circle and An
Evening with the Fairies!
Thursday, August 10, 2006
St. John's Storytelling Circle
Do you like listening to stories? Are you a storyteller at heart, looking
for an audience? Then you are invited to an informal gathering of
storytellers and lovers of a good story. Both experienced storytellers and
newcomers are welcome. Just want to listen? Then come along! Every kind of
story can be told as long as it's by word of mouth, rather than being read
aloud.
The St. John's Storytelling Circle will run from 7:30-9:30 at the Crow's
Nest Officer's Club, with op****tunities for new storytellers to spin a
yarn.
The Crow's Nest is located off the public stairs at the east side of the
War
Memorial on Duckworth Street, St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. $2
admission
