 Folks! The Grampian Association of Storytellers are pleased to
present 4 storytelling workshops:

Storytelling Training for Adults Working With Children

Over the next few months we are offering 4 different courses in which
you can learn and participate in a warm and relaxed environment.

'Go Wild With Stories'

Saturday 17th June from 10am-4pm, venue TBA
 Storyteller and naturalist John Hamilton* will lead this workshop,
exploring how we can use the natural environment to tell stories to
inspire, share information and bring facts to life. This is guaranteed
to be a fun day, with plenty enjoyment!

Refreshments provided.

Cost: £20, £12 concession, bring your own lunch and outdoor clothing
as some of the workshop will be outside!

A story evening with John Hamilton precludes this event on the 16th
June from 7.30-10pm. Venue TBA. Suggested donation of £3.

Using Puppets to Tell Stories
Saturday 9th September 2006
Storyteller and puppeteer Wendy de Rusett has years of experience
working with children and adults sup****ting and releasing their
potential to share. A delightful day in store for all!


Local Quines Sharin Aboot Local Stories
Saturday 16th September 2006
Storytellers Jackie Ross and Margaret Currie have been telling stories
in schools for years, sharing and encouraging youngsters to do the
same. This day will be a time to explore some of the stories from this
area and help you tae learn and tell these yersels! Ye dinna hae to be
a Doric speaker... but expect some Doric humour!


We are all Unique, ethnic awareness through stories
Saturday 28th October

Debbie Guneratnea who is originally form Sri Lanka and now lives in
London will be sharing with us how to tell stories which can resonate
with children and help them to understand and celebrate our
differences.

A story evening with Debbie Guneratnea precludes this event on the 27th
of October from 7.30-10pm. Venue TBA. Suggested donation of £3.
