OK, here's a legitimate post to overcome the spam effect. :-)
I edit an online newsletter, The Storyteller and the Listener Online,
that publishes two guest essays each month from individuals around the
world who have experienced the power of stories and personal narratives
to create peace, heal wounds, build new bridges of understanding and
reconcile differences in their local communities. Presently, I'm
working on a "compilation essay" in which not just one essayist, but
many individuals, are contributing a BRIEF (one or two paragraph)
account of a moment in their lives when they realized anew the power of
story in peace work and healing work. I'm especially hopeful to hear
from _listeners_ as well as _tellers_ who have been so moved.
So, if you'd like to participate, answer this question in a paragraph
or two, also giving your name, city, state/provence, country and any
email and/or website link you'd like to have included:
Can you describe a moment when, either as a teller or as a listener,
you realized the power of stories and personal narratives to create
peace, heal wounds, build bridges of understanding and/or reconcile
differences?
Thanks to any and all who would like to participate.
If you'd like to see the newsletter go to:

Alas, yes, it is
technically a blog, but it functions more like a newsletter!
