Of course it's not intentional. But it is entirely superficial. You are 
an old hack at making connections where none exist, so this is no 
surprise. Except for the tenuous fact that both the Partridge lyric and 
the thing under discussion have a vaguely "comic book" metaphor, no 
other connection exists, either structurally, linguistically, or in 
terms of metaphor quality. In other words, you're deluded.
