How do I fold strip into 5 even panels?

by msol@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Jul 16, 2007 at 07:44 AM

For a crafts project, I need to divide varying lengths into 5 even
panels. To do this, I cut a strip of paper to match the overall length
I need; use a ruler to measure it; divide this measurement by 5; use
this one-fifth measurement to draw 4 lines on the strip (creating 5
panels) for use as a template. However, I wonder if there is a way of
folding the strip in a way that would create lines dividing the strip
into even 5ths without having to use a ruler. I tried figuring this
out but failed. Any ideas? Thanks

Mark
