When Seth Brignell and Alison Raimes combine their work, they probe
the 'imperceptible' and the 'immense' of internal and external space
from different perspectives. The result is an uneasy dichotomy of
sound and image in which the viewer is invited to relocate to new
territories.

Although Brignell and Raimes have only been collaborating since
January 2006, this is the second year running that they have been
selected by an independent curator to be included in the annual Bow
Arts Trust group exhibition.

'Multicomplexificationalities' is a new work by Brignell and Raimes,
that restricts the viewer's experience by distancing the sound and
image across a contained synthetic environment. The sound and image
are echoed as the viewer peers into the work and invites study. This
is in direct contrast to the close encounter between viewer and artist
that is often overwhelming in some of the participatory work that they
produce. The exploration of the inter relation****p between formal and
experimental is symbiotic to Brignell and Raimes' practice.
