It was fine for a long while... But yes, you are correct spam, and more
spam has invaded the Usenet..
Every newsgroup i was using or revived, or participated in Last year is
over
run by different posters... And lots more spam... I use to fight spam,
and was run over in a windows system, so I have spent the last year
learning how to run a desktop linux system -
I lot of ISP have dropped newsgroups, and most new users still haven't a
clue about using newsgroups... Vista certainly does not help...
