In addition to what the others said, steer well clear of OpenType fonts!
Use only Type1 (i.e., PostScript) or standard TrueType fonts --
PageMaker predates the more modern font variety and is likely to choke
on them!

No pasting of the clipboard is needed and wanted when transferring files
to PageMaker - you *do* save the file and place it with the "place"
command, don't you?
