I just got a D500 and a Badger 150 airbrush to do some airbrush work on
some guitars I have. I'm a total beginner with this and plan to spend
a fair amount of time practicing before I attack any of my guitars with
stencils, etc.
My question is about the Paasche D500. It has a bleeder valve on it to
control the air pressure, but I'm having a difficult time with it. If
I open it up all the way, the D500 revs up really fast, and if I almost
close it, the D500 slows way down. Either way, I only get a very light
amount of air out of the airbrush, but I get a lot of air out of the
hole in the opposite side of the coupling that the bleeder valve is on.
There wasn't anything in the way of instructions with the D500 and I
haven't been able to find any information on how to use it correctly.
Can someone point me to some info on this?
Thanks,
Ed
