Help - How to ex****t custom Morphs to use in Poser?

by "Teixeira" <de.sa.teixeira@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 1, 2006 at 06:44 PM

Hi!

I'm a researcher and use Poser 6 to create stimuli for experiments
about the perception of Emotional facial expressions. Some time ago I
acquired a few .pz3 files with customized morphs calibrated according
to FACS (Facial Action Coding System), a major instrument for research
of facial features.
Now, I would like to ex****t those morphs so I can freely use them at
any other character of Poser. As far as I can see, I must save them as
a .OBJ file. However, using Poser alone I can only ex****t all the
features of the .pz3 files and not just the geometry of the morphs that
I want. Besides, the original .pz3 files were created for Poser 3. So
far, and using only the original files, I can easily run them at Poser
6. But I don't know if I will have any kind of compatibility problem
once I managed to ex****t the morphs. To complicate things, the research
team that developed those .pz3 files (and, the case being, the custom
morphs) abandoned the project and are no longer working on it.
Can somenone, please, give me some hints?

Thanks in advance,

Nuno Teixeira
